First Aid and Conflict Management Training
First Aid at Work (FAW) Course Including (AED)
This three-day course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. Upon successful completion of this three day course, first-aiders receive certification to allow them to practice for three years, after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking our annual refresher course.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course
A practical one-day course aimed at teaching the emergency procedures and the skills required to deal with typical injuries and illnesses. It is suitable for most staff but especially beneficial for those workplaces where the potential for injury is of a higher risk or off-site.
Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training
This practical half-day course is designed to suit a variety of audiences, including parents, grandparents, volunteer workers, youth and community groups together with skilled health workers and others who feel that their resuscitation skills need updating. It includes Incident Management and Basic Life Support, with training and “hands on practice” of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Recovery Position and if required, the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s)
Paediatric First Aid Course
This two-day first aid course has been designed to meet the recommendations of OFSTED for people working within schools and child care environments. This course is suitable for all:
- Teacher
- Child Carers
- Nursery Nurses
- Teaching Assistants
- Supervisory Assistants
- Pre-school Staff
Anyone who has the responsibility for children and young people and wishes to assist if ever a child related first aid situation arises.
Conflict Management
This Level 2 Award has four learning outcomes
- Understand the possible causes of conflict
- Know how to reduce the risk of conflict in the workplace
- Know how to diffuse a potential conflict situation in the workplace
- Understand post incident processes in the workplace
